We had a beautiful butterfly in our yard yesterday. It was hovering around for a very long time and did not appear scared of us at all.
We think it was an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly.

Nature Notes
The baby robins learned to fly a couple of days ago and took off together! It was amazing to watch. Now the birds' nest is empty. I will bring it into the classroom so you can all see it, if you would like.
