Today, we celebrated Dot Day. Dot Day was created by the author and illustrator Peter Reynolds a few years ago and it is now celebrated in classrooms all around the world. It is based on the book The Dot, in which the main character makes her mark on the world and gains confidence through a simple dot drawing. We used chromebooks with Mrs. Birdsall and decorated paper dots to show how we can be safe, kind and responsible online. Here are some pictures. The dots will eventually hang in our computer lab. Please drop by to see them up close.
Welcome to Mrs. McCormack's 1st grade class blog where we post updates and pictures of our learning. Please see the sidebar for links to our other web-sites.
