Exploring Character Traits

We have explored character traits throughout our unit on Mercy Watson.  We learned that readers can describe characters on "the outside" (what they look like) and "on the inside" (what they act like, what they do and think).  Here is a picture of our anchor chart hanging in our classroom.  Please encourage your child to think about character traits when he/she is reading at home too.
