Dear Families,
Happy Summer! Today was the last day of school and it went by so fast....in fact, right now it feels like the entire year went by very fast. I hope you and your child will enjoy a wonderful summer together. Team Harmony will work on a new reading challenge for the summer and I will let you know what the specific details are sometime next week. All I can say right now is that we will do something online and we will invite all Harmony kids to a final celebration at the end of the summer here at ABS.
Team Harmony will also have some changes next school year. Ms. Alicia, our wonderful para-educator will not be with us, and Ms Dunphy will also not be here as our TA. Ms. Gravelin will teach 5th and 6th grade at another school next year. She will be greatly missed. We wish her all the best. We welcome our new team-mate Emily Fisher to our team for next year!
Fun Day
Fun Day was a huge success. Thank you parents who helped out at the different stations. Here are some pictures:
Harmony Idol
Traditionally, team Harmony celebrates the last full day of school with a team-wide American Idol, called Harmony Idol. The children sign up to be a judge or to perform. This year was packed with solo artists, dancers and group performances. Even I had the opportunity to dance with 3 groups. What a treat!! Thank you all for participating!
Happy Summer everyone!
Welcome to Mrs. McCormack's 1st grade class blog where we post updates and pictures of our learning. Please see the sidebar for links to our other web-sites.
