iPads

The students continued to explore literacy through the uses of our iPads this week. We continued spelling words using a program (or app, as Apple calls it) entitled "Word Wizard". I have received many request from parents about which apps we have on the school iPads because many parents wish to get the same programs/games at home. First of all, I am so excited to hear this! Thank you for supporting your child's education and learning at home. Many of the programs we have are already listed on the Technology page on the school web-site. In addition, I will list a few of them here:
Literacy:
Word Wizard, Dragon Dictation, Bob Books and Word Blocks

Math:
Multi-Touch Math, Fingercount, Pop Math Maths Plus

Science:
Sky Safari

Google Earth
Doodle Buddy
PuppetPals
ToonTastic
