First Grade Math

We had another terrific math class today in our busy first grade math classroom.  The students continued to familiarize themselves with our routines and materials, rotating through a series of stations.  We also learned more about our Number Corner, a part of our math class that focuses upon establishing solid strategies and understandings in basic number sense.  We learned how to write the date and how to show the number of days in school through equations, tally marks and using ten frames.
